CORE PE Curriculum is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We work to align our site with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Accessibility review
An Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) using the WCAG Edition (Based on VPAT® Version 2.5) was completed on April 17, 2024 for the CORE PE Brochure Site and Member’s Site.
Based on that review:
- Most WCAG 2.2 Level A and Level AA success criteria were rated Supports.
- Some criteria were rated Partially Supports.
- Very few were rated Does Not Support.
Since that review, there have been no major changes to our website.
Known accessibility limitations (from the April 2024 review)
We are aware of the following items noted in the ACR:
- Color/contrast: A graphic and some buttons on the brochure site were noted as having insufficient contrast in a few instances.
- Keyboard accessibility: Two elements within the member site were noted as not keyboard accessible. These elements were described as not necessary to use the program.
- Responsive reflow: WCAG 2.2 Success Criterion 1.4.10 (Reflow) was rated Does Not Support due to a horizontal limitation (the site can only reflow down to 500px width).
- Accessible authentication: WCAG 2.2 Success Criterion 3.3.8 (Accessible Authentication, Minimum) was rated Does Not Support because login uses password-only authentication.
